Irish families at Delphi Academy helped us throw a St. Patrick’s Day celebration for the first time in 2009. Students learned a great deal about Ireland by singing songs, writing and reciting limericks, performing skits and even Irish step-dancing. Our show was emceed by Patty, the leprechaun, and finished with a traditional Irish blessing recited in Irish (Gaelic) by a student and her mother.
