
Summer at Delphi is full of FUN!
Campers are given a wide selection of activities from which to choose. While every summer is different, campers may learn how to rock climb, build their own robot, try a new team sport or build a model roller coasterl.
Each summer features weekly field trips, weekly swimming or water play, special camping trips, sporting events and artistic activities.

All campers go on day trips each week to a variety of fun locations around the Bay Area. They may go to the beach, The Tech Museum, Monterey Bay Aquarium or the Oakland Zoo. Older students may enjoy themselves at a waterslide park, go horseback riding or bounce for an afternoon at Sky High trampoline center.

Lower School (Younger Students age 4-8)
Beginners (age 4 - 5) enjoy Sprinkler Day & Water Play once a week. Bring a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen and water shoes and enjoy bubbles, water toys, water slides and small pools.
At our new location in historic, two-story Building A (former home of John F. Kennedy University) on the Campbell Community Center campus, Delphi campers will have access to the swimming pool located on site. To swim in deeper watersl, children must pass a swim test given by lifeguards. Children are supervised by Delphi Teachers, Aides and the pool's trained lifeguards.
Form 1 (age 6-7) Swim Day - every Wednesday
Form 2 (age 7-8) Swim Day - every Monday
Elementary & Middle School (Older Students ages 8-13)

Beginner 2 Sleepover on Campus
Friday, July 20th to Saturday, July 21st
Young campers are introduced to camping with an on-campus sleepover! They'll enjoy indoor and outdoor games, pizza dinner and storytime before sleeping in a big, cozy tent inside their familiar classroom.
Form 1 & 2 Camping Trip to Big Basin Redwood State Park, Boulder Creek
Wednesday, July 18th to Friday, July 20th
Find fun and adventure in the largest continuous stand of ancient coast redwoods! Creek walking, hikes to gentle waterfalls, campfires and crafts are all an hour away from campus. Big Basin is a safe and friendly place for a first camping trip.
Form 2 & 3 Camping Trip to Memorial Park
Wednesday, August 1st to Friday, August 3rd
Memorial Park is a favorite camping site for Delphi campers. The woods are temperate and cozy, the campsite clean and inviting with plenty of room to play. Numerous trails let us explore the forest and hike to a shallow swimming hole. On this trip, campers will also have fun learning outdoor kid survival skills from the renowned Hug A Tree program. We'll also spot wildlife, do arts and crafts and have a great time!

Tuesday, July 10th to Friday, July 13th
Our scheduled trip to Salt Point State Park in Sonoma County was changed due to state budget cuts that resulted in the closing of this park to campers. We will instead be going to Big Basin for fun in the redwoods - hiking, hiking, crafts, creek-walking, waterfalls, and age-appropriate survival skills from the Hug-A-Tree program.
Forms 4 & 5 Camping Trip to Sugar Pine Point State Park, West Shore, Lake Tahoe
Monday, July 23rd to Friday, July 27th
Acres of forest and all the glory of Lake Tahoe await campers who will swim, hike, boat, play games and learn the special history of this park. They'll visit the nature center, Hellman-Ehrman Mansion and its boathouse of vintage racing boats. A full day will be spent on Lake Tahoe in pontoon party boats. It wouldn't be a Delphi trip without a big hike! We'll hike to Duck and Lost Lakes for a day of swimming and beautiful vistas.

A Delphi Summer Camp is packed with good times. Each year, activities may change slightly, but feature sports, arts, special days and fun! Here are just a few of the activities campers can look forward to this year:
